Yesterday, I was planning to spend the afternoon taking pictures of the sheep and the dogs, but they were all being incredibly uncooperative. The sheep wouldn’t be still long enough for me to focus, and the dogs refused to sit and stay, preferring instead to stand inches away from my camera, licking the lens.
Just when I was so frustrated that I was ready to give up, I remembered my favorite, easiest-to-work-with models.

We’re all at Amy’s house today, working away on getting all the yarn dyed, tagged and ready to ship. I have to say, I have the best friends in the world. They are always willing to pitch in and lend a hand.
To pass the time, we’re having a Autumnal/Halloween film festival. So far we’ve watched Practical Magic and The Nightmare Before Christmas. The Raven is up next and then maybe The Others. All and all, it’s been a perfect Sunday.

Dyeing share yarn!
The mill that spun our Colored Flock share yarn also process The Shepherd & The Shearer yarn. When the S&S shares arrived, we found a few skeins of Colored yarn that had been forgotten baled in with the white. It’s like a variety pack!

The lambs we’ve been bottle feeding are (FINALLY!) becoming less and less interested in finishing their bottles, which make Cini a very happy dog.
Cini seems to prefer this direct method of obtaining milk replacer even better than his usual one– lick the lambs faces as the drink their bottles.
